The large majority of our business consists of building and selling our Signature Model of instruments described below. Before an instrument is built, Bob talks with the prospective buyer to determine the buyer's expectations and preferences. The instrument is then built, finished, and set up on a per order basis based on each buyer's preferences.

Although we do not operate a retail music store as such, we do usually have other instruments available that we acquire sometimes from students, trades, and other sources. Because this isn't our primary business, these are usually priced so we can move them quickly.  Many of these instruments are exceptional values. Bob inspects every instrument before it is shipped to be sure it is set up properly and in good playing condition. See our Available Instruments page for current stock.

 

Signature Model

These instruments are completely hand made by Bob and carry his signed label. The back, neck and sides are made from the best Flamed Maple (OurWood). The tops are select Englemann Spruce. The plates for each are individually graduated and tuned, based on the stiffness and tonal characteristics in the wood of each plate. The care and experience Bob brings to this process makes these instruments consistent and provides them with an exceptional sound. After assembly, these instruments are finished and set up per customer specifications.
